The HDMI amplifier splitter unit’s output can achieve a long distance transmission of a HDMI signal of more than 15 metres. When two or more products are cascaded, they can create a larger distribution and longer length.

Q: Will this 1-4 HDMI Distribution amp work in conjunction with HDMI over Cat5 / Cat 6 HD Extender Transmitter/Receivers. I want to transmit Sky HD TV to other rooms in the house over Cat5 / Cat6, but the HD box has only one HDMI port.
Is there another Distribution Amplifier product available that would work in conjunction with Cat5 / Cat6 cables without the need of individual Transmitters / Receivers.- A: Hi,
Apologies for the delay in reply. Yes this 1-4 HDMI amplifier will work with further HDMI extenders. As a rule, for each time you want to send the HDMI signal over a CAT 5 / 6 cable, you will always need a HDMI CAT 5 / 6 receiver and sender. We are not aware of any other ways of doing this at present? Thanks for asking!
