Q: Does the device allow for switching between 2 different inputs? For example computer A or computer B. How about 3 different inputs, eg two computers or an MP3 player?
- A: Hi,
As this only has 1 input, it switches on the choice of it's 2 outputs, an example would be 2 sets of speakers or speaker and headset. It would not be able to switch between 3 as it only has 1 input, thanks for asking!

Q: My need is for a switch to flick between microphone and headphone so that it mutes the other when either is selected. Will this device do that?

This device has a switch to flick between speakers and headphones and also a switch to enable or disable (mute) a microphone, so I guess yes is the answer you are looking for! Hope this helps.
