I'd searched the net for a means of playing my new iPod Touch 5G through my Mazda 6 stereo. Initially the searches showed gizmos costing £80. Then I stumbled on these cables. Delivery was quick. You can't control the iPod through the car stereo controls, but the connection between the car's Aux In and iPod headphone outlet is a doddle. We needed this lead so that we could input backing tracks directly into the on-stage amp - and the associated stage monitor speakers - from the sound desk at the back of the audience in the village hall..
It worked perfectly, no distortion, no crackle, no noticable attenuation.
That was driven by a PC notebook soundcard, but at last night's after-show party some members of the cast regaled us with tracks from their iPods - via the same cable into the on-stage amp - again fault free. (Posted on 23/06/2011)

Yes-' Simply the Best, better than all the rest' I needed a lead but did not know what I needed. In this case to connect an imic to an imac.
