The cables and a SCART adapter in this kit, will allow you to connect your 7 pin S-Video output from your laptop or Computers graphic card output, to either the SCART input an S-Video input on your TV. The Audio lead included will connect from the audio output of your Laptop / Computer to the audio input of either your TV or home cinema system / speakers.

But I do not have an S-Video Output on my Laptop or PC?
Chances are you will have a monitor output though. This is a 15 pin VGA output, but if your TV has not got a VGA PC input, you will need to get our VGA to Video Converter. This will convert the Monitor output from your computer / laptop to a video signal that your TV can use. See items below for details...

Price Value Quality Purchased this kit so my daughter could watch Quicktime videos recorded on her camera on the television. Connected lead as per simple instructions provided and there was the computer desktop on the TV... as easy as that. If you are looking for a cheap and effective way of viewing standard definition video using a laptop, this kit will do the job.

Q: why dosent the 7 pin s video on laptop go to a scart end, without the need for a seperate audio cable and 4 to 7 pin converter?

Hi, the 7 pin S-Video only carries the video (no sound), so as the sound comes from a laptops audio output , the 3.5mm stereo jack socket, we inlcude an audio lead that then goes into the SCART adapter to complete the kit and solution for you. We are not aware of any 7 pin to SCART direct cables, so we created this kit to help. Thanks for checking!

Hi, to be honest, all you should need is this kit! This "PC Laptop to TV Kit via 7 pin S-Video" should contain the cables you need to allow you to connect your 7 pin output from your laptop to your 4 pin input on your TV. We include an audio lead too, so you can connect your sound from your laptop to your TV or cinema speaker system etc... hope this helps!
