Allows you to connect a modem to a wall socket enabled for broadband and all other telephones in the same line.Overview of:

ADSL Microfilter / Splitter. These are used in homes and offices, where ever you have a telephone used and router / modem. They split the voice traffic from the internet traffic and allow the standard telephone wires in your home to share both voice and broadband on the same line. It is important that you fit an ADSL Filter where ever you have say a telephone, telephone answering machine, SKY / Satellite Box (that uses the phone line), fax and so on. Without these in place you may find your internet connection fails from time to time or does not work at all!
Once plugged into your BT socket on the wall, it will provide you with 1 x Standard BT socket you can connect a phone or further extension lead too. It also then provides a standard RJ11 socket for your Modem / Router. An RJ11 male to male cable would then be connected between this and your modem / router. Suitable for all Broadband installations and essential for your internet and phones to work together.
