I have connected a sony Vaio VGN-FZ31M to a 5 yr old Profilo TV in Turkey, with the pc to tv cable kit and using the Scart adapter plug, and switched it to "IN"
I set the TV to AV2, cus thats what it says on the Scart socket on the TV
I configured the monitor/s, and ticked extend desktop onto monitor.
I have a blank TV screen
I then go to Display Advanced tab and every time I actually hit the Advanced tab, my laptop screensaver shows on the TV for half a second. I tried changing the frequency too but only get a choice of 29Hz or 30Hz, so I try both anyway.
I then go into NVIDIA control panel, and every time I touch any button/choice/selection in the SET UP MULTIPLE DISPLAYS page, - the picture off my Laptop desktop shows on the TV ..... for all of half a second !!!!!
HELP

Hi Yvonne,

Thanks for dropping by. It all depends what device you are looking to connect to you TV and what connection types you have available on the device.

Most HD TV's conncect to devices via a HMDI Cable. As a rule the interfaces or sockets on devices are a female connection and therefore need a male connection to plug into them. So when connecting to devices together such as a Blu-Ray Player or Sky HD Box, you will need a Male to Male cable
