If you plug a DVI Splitter Cable into the back of your PC or Laptop, all this will do is weaken the signal (divide it by half!) and provide the same output, twice! You will also need to check that both your DVI monitors are of the same type and resolution. As your computer only outputs one resolution and frequency, you need to double check that both your screens will cope with this same signal. DVI is a digital format and so the communication between DVI monitor and DVI output needs to be the same for all!
