DVI Video Computer / Laptop to VGA TV Cable Kits, just the cables you need to output from your computer or laptops DVI-A port to your VGA (15 pin) PC input on your LCD or Plasma TV. A 3.5mm to RCA (Red / White) Audio Cable also included so you can enjoy the audio from your computer on your TV or home cinema system too.
This is ideal for media centre computers or laptops, as it allows you to hook up your system to your TV. All you need then is a wireless keyboard and mouse.
Other points to consider
1 - If you only have 1 DVI output on your computer, then you can add a further DVI port with a simple USB to DVI adapter, see related items to the right. This provides another DVI port you can connect with. It also allows you to have a completely different size / resolution screen to the one you have already!
2 - If your PC already has 2 DVI monitor outputs, then you can just use this cable kit. (A PC with 2 monitor outputs will allow you to set different resolutions for the 2 displays too.)

Q: This is probably a silly question ... but.
My graphics card has a dvi and a vga port. If I add a 'dvi to vga' cable and attach a second monitor will both monitors show the same picture or will I be able to use the second monitor independently (which is what i want)?
If not, is there any way of achieving a dual monitor system at reasonable cost without getting a new twin vga output video card?

No, its a great question! As your PC has 2 ports (VGA and DVI) your computer is ready for twin screen use. Simply add the cable you need (In your case a DVI to VGA Cable Our Code: 460612) and then access your Windows Desktop Properties, to enable the 2nd display. You can then drag n drop windows between your screens as you require. Hope this helps!
