Overview of:
HDMI over Cat5 Cat6 HD Extender Transmitter and Receiver
HDMI over Cat5 Cat6 HD Extender Transmitter and Receiver
HDMI over Cat-5 Cat-6 HDMI Extender Transmitter and Receiver available in 30m or 50m versions. This single transmitter and single receiver, when connected by 2 network patch cables (cat5 or 6) will provide a high definition extension to your HDMI display and HDMI video player. As Network Cables are cheaper and easier to install over a distance, they then allow you to setup your displays a lot further away than normally possible.
You will need two network cables, and of course 2 HDMI cables, if you haven't got them already in order to make your connection too.

Q: i want to be able to send Free Sat HDMI signal to a second tv in kitchen from lounge. used to do this from sky box over an old aerial cable but no aerial output on my freesat box. I have a spare HDMI port that works just need to get to kitchen. I see you do a HDMI to CAT 5 box. I also know you can get a set of converters to plug into mains sockets with CAT 5 converters. So do you sell these and can i use the 2 converters to achieve my goal? or do you have another solution without running a cable.?
Thanks- A: Martin,
Hi, due to the bandwidth needed to transfer High Definition Audio Video, most affordable solutions available are still by cable. These HDMI over Cat 5 or Cat 6 (Network / Patch) Cables provide a fairly easy solution for most domestic and commercial installations. Network cable is fairly cheap, small and easier to install as a rule. So if you wanted to have FreeSat HD in another room, these should work well. You may need a HDMI Splitter too, to allow the HDMI signal to be split at source. Search our site for code: "900402-CP" for details. We do not have any HDMI over power solutions available (at present!). Thanks for checking.
