HDMI Splitter

HDMI Splitter - Get 2 out of 1 HDMI.

Lets just start with one thing. There can be confusion between the use of HDMI Splitters, HDMI Switches, HDMI Amplifiers and so on. So lets run the following past you first!

1 - A HDMI Splitter will 'split' the signal from 1 HDMI device into 2. Ideal if you want to have say, your Playstation 3 or Blu-Ray Player show up on 2 screens at the same time! Nothing more, nothing less.

2 - If your TV or screen has only 1 HDMI input but you have 2 or more HDMI devices you want to connect, then you will need a HDMI Switch.

3 - If you want to show / split the signal to 2 or more HDMI screens or TV's then you will need a HDMI Distribution Amplifier. These will boost the signal, maintain the quality and thus allow the same content from say a Blu-Ray player or other HDMI device to show up on 2, 3 plus screens at the same time.
