HDMI Splitter 2 Port
HDMI Splitter 2 Port
HDMI Splitter 2 Port, will allow you to show the content from 1 HDMI source like a Blu-Ray Player or HD box to 2 screens at the same time. This mains powered little unit is great for presentations, retail displays etc.
Please note that it will not work the other way round. It is not suitable for using where you only have 1 HDMI input on your TV and want to connect 2 HDMI sources. In that case, you would need a HDMI switch.

HDMI Splitter 2 Port

Q: I have recently purchased a Blu-ray player with only 1 hdmi output and wish to know if I would able to use this Splitter to connect a HDMI cable directly to my Plasma display and another HDMI cable directly to my Amp/Receiver from the player (currently I'm routing a cable from player to amp to plasma but this is causing a video delay so would much prefer to have seperate connections from the actual player).
Many thanks
Chris- A: Hi,
In theory, we cannot see why this should not work for you. Any problems, then please just request an RMA return within 7 days of receipt. Many thanks!
Question asked by Chris at 18:14 on 22/12/2010 -
Q: I want to use this splitter with a Sky HD box, and then use Cat6 extenders to distribute the signal to two TVs. I have enough CAT6 connections to use two cables per extender. Also, ideally, I would prefer not to have power adaptors.
But the main criteria is to provide a quality signal. Would I be better using a two-cable extender, or a single cable extender? Do I need an extender with amplification?
Thanks
David- A: David,
Hi, if you search for the product code: 900402-CP, this device is better suited for SKY HD, as it is HDCP compliant. As for the single or twin CAT 6 extender, both would provide a comparable HD signal. The twin CAT 6 extenders are cheaper, both types do need power too. No further amplifier would be needed as long as you used no longer than 3-5m HDMI cables at either end. Hope this helps!
