Modern High Definition Camcorders and mobile devices, due to their smaller size don't always offer a full sized HDMI socket. You may find that they have the smaller Mini Type C HDMI port. You can easily check this by measuring the socket. If it is 10mm in width (1cm), then you have yourself a device that requires a HDMI Mini Type C cable.
