Mains Power Leads 240vAC 5 AMP UK Plug to IEC C13 Plug, used in computers, monitors, replacement TV lead, Lighting Equipment and various other electronic devices. Also known as a 'kettle lead', though not recommended for use in a kettle!

A note with regards to cable power ratings.
While this cable is fitted with a 5amp fuse, the cable is rated 10amp (1.0mm²), so if required a 10amp fuse could be fitted if required. Under no circumstances should a 13amp fuse be fitted to this cable. So, as we state above, this cable should not be used with a Kettle as this requires more amperage than this cable can provide. Should you be unsure about the use of this cable, then always consult the product guide or manual that comes with your equipment, for the correct power requirements needed.

Q: the lead is to replace a shorter one for my tv however the the lead i have now is a 10 amp, can i replace it with the 5 amp lead ?

Hi, these cables are 10amp capable, but we only ship them with 5amp fuses. Most displays will work with just a 5amp fuse, check with your product manual for details. (They are not suitable for a 13amp fuse though!) Many thanks.
