Overview of:
PC or Laptop to TV Kit via S-Video

S-Video and Audio Laptop / Computer to TV Kits. For those with a 4 pin S Video Output on Laptop or Computer Graphics Card.

The 2 cables and a SCART adapter in this kit, will allow you to connect your S-Video output from your laptop or Computers graphic card output, to either the SCART input an S-Video input on your TV. The Audio lead included will connect from the audio output of your Laptop / Computer to the audio input of either your TV or home cinema system / speakers.

If your graphics card or laptop has a 7 pin S-Video output, then we do do an adapter cable, see related items that converts 7 pin S-Video to standard 4 pin S-Video.

But I do not have an S-Video Output on my Laptop or PC?

Chances are you will have a monitor output though. This is a 15 pin VGA output, but if your TV has not got a VGA PC input, you will need to get our VGA to Video Converter. This will convert the Monitor output from your computer / laptop to a video signal that your TV can use. See items below for details...

The product is exactly as described, works exactly as it should, is priced exactly right. Basically if you know what you're buying, you'll get what you need.

Just one slight concern about the packaging: it could have used a bit more protection on the pins of the SCART. I just put the pins back into place and that was it really, and it's more to say something else than just the usual. I guess people coming on this website know what they're after so...

  Your only monitor output is a 15 pin VGA type. But we do not know what type of TV you have? If you have a modern flatscreen TV with a 15 pin VGA (PC Input), then you need to look at our VGA Computer to TV kit (Our Code: 104205G). If you have a traditional older TV with only a SCART type video input, then you will need a VGA to TV Converter kit, (Our Code: 104150). Both kits come with audio leads too that you can use for your Karaoke. Hope this helps.

- A: Hi, you have a 6 pin S-Video on your laptop? Can we check that this is actually an S-Video output and not a mouse or keyboard PS/2 socket as these are also 6 pin mini-din sockets? Or could it really be 7 pin? We do a 7 pin to 4 pin converter, see related items for details. Feel free to call us too, also provide your laptop make / model we can check for you. - A: Again, this depends on your TV. If you have a modern flatscreen LCD or Plasma TV, most come with a 15 pin (VGA) PC Input point. Most laptops have a VGA monitor output, you would then need our cable kit for VGA, search code: 104205G. If you have an older TV set with only SCART or S-Video inputs, then you will need a VGA to S-Video / Composite Video converter. We do have a new kit / converter coming in the next 7-10 days...

- A: Hi, if you are looking at this kit, then you need to make sure your laptop has a 4 pin S-Video (TV Output). You then take this lead included and connect this to the S-Video input on your TV. If your TV does not have an S-Video input, but has a SCART input (usually on the rear) then the S-Video to SCART adapter included in this kit provides the solution. You then just need to connect the audio lead (included) from your Stereo Audio output of your Laptop to the Audio input of either, your TV or the SCART adapter (included) or the audio input of your home speakers / cinema receiver. You can then set your windows desktop to extend your desktop to your TV or Clone the desktop to your TV. We also have a solution for those with LCD TV's (VGA kit). Hope this helps!
