Q: I need a vga to a dvi adaptor for my computer to allow a cable from my computer to my television which will dvi to hdmi. Will this only supply pictures and not sound? Will it support 1080?
- A: Hi,
You cannot run the setup we think you are trying to do! VGA to DVI Adapter to DVI to HDMI Cable is not possible without some hardware to convert the display signals. The basics of it are that VGA is an analogue video signal and HDMI is digital. You need a converter to change the signal. Q: I have one high quality monitor connected to my Home PC by DVI (male to male) cable. I want to use this moitor with both this PC and my Office laptop but the Aten 2 Port USB KVM Switch device I have has VGA connectors only - (female) master and two built in VGA (Male) cables.
I need some DVI to VGA adaptors (female to male) but can only find male to female ones on your site....do you also have the other kind?

Hi, good question. In this case I think the use of a gender changer or coupler may be well suited to help you! Depending on which cable you want to change from male to female etc...? Search our store for the words 'coupler' with either vga or dvi too and this should provide you with a solution! Then when used with your adapter of choice, all should become connected. Hope this helps!
